We are a husband-and-wife dental doctor team. We have been providing transcription services to clients in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia for the last 12 years. Our Quality Control Team also contains several doctors trained to be proof readers as well. My wife, Dr. Ann George, a trained dental surgeon (BDS), personally does the quality auditing as well as training of our Medical Transcriptionists, Proof Readers, and Quality Control Managers. I, Dr. George Cherian (Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist -MDS), help in client relations, marketing and sales, staff recruitment and management.Quality Assurance
We guarantee 98.5% and above accuracy for all our reports, subject to quality of audio.
In order to consistently maintain premium quality, we have developed a Four-Tier Quality Control System which has given us excellent results for the last 12 years.
- First draft: This is typed out medical transcriptionists (MTs) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Proofreading: The first draft is proof read word for word by a trained proofreader (PR) who has at least four years of experience. The proofreader checks the file for integrity of content, both demographics as well as textual matter. As the first draft MT becomes increasingly proficient at providing premium quality, the percentage of his files picked for word for word proofreading drops to only 50%, and he becomes a Level 2 MT. However, if a quality drop is suspected, the MT is brought back to Level 1. Daily feedback is given to the MT on the learning curve.
- Quality Controller (QC): The QC fills in blanks left by the previous two levels and also does a random 20% word to word check of the reports to guarantee the quality of the document. The QC will conduct weekly trainings for the previous two levels and provide regular feedback. The QC has more than 5 years of experience in the industry
- Quality Auditor (QA): The QA conducts post delivery quality checks at all the previous levels. The quality auditor liaisons between the company and the client to ensure that all client feedbacks are incorporated quickly and client needs are met most efficiently. The QA plans for any change in work protocol and also takes decisions on individual personnel performance at all levels. The QA is also the chief trainer. She conducts interviews for recruitment and training. Our current QA has more than 13 years of industry experience.
